The Alpha course is a 10-session introduction to the core beliefs of our Christian faith that is so relevant in today's world. Participants explore the Faith in relaxed meetings which include a meal, music, a presentation, and small group discussion. The course is offered in our church once a year.
This ministry reaches out to families who are celebrating the baptism of their child at the parish. Through communications, prayer and fellowship events the team welcomes the families to the parish and offers continued support to live their Catholic faith after the baptism.
Religious Educators share the teachings of the Faith with the young people of our parish in grades 1-8. They help prepare our youth to celebrate appropriate sacraments (First Communion, Reconciliation, and Confirmation) and supervise service projects. Jesus calls and empowers you to share your faith, prayer, and reflection of Scripture with our young people

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults Ministry:
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is a process through which non-baptized men and women enter the Catholic Church. In addition, the process prepares baptized Christian adults to receive the sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist. Participants undergo a journey of conversion as they study the Gospel, profess faith in Jesus and the Catholic Church, and ultimately receive the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist. Parishioners are encouraged to support candidates and catechumens by sharing their faith and experience as team members.

Most Sundays during the school year during our 10:00 AM family Mass we have a Liturgy of the Word geared for Young People that is said at Mass. Children are welcomed to come forward and gather near the altar to listen to the priest's homily that is directed towards them and their understanding level of the Gospel.
Sharing our faith with others, especially with our younger members, is both a joy and a rewarding experience. If you are interested in assisting with the Children's Liturgy of the Word or would like to help lead these services we provide training and some wonderful clear and helpful resources to make for a successful experience. The RCIC process is adapted for children seven years and older who seek to be baptized in or come into Full Communion with the Catholic Church (see RCIA description). The formation and celebration of the rites are carefully adapted to offer a relevant and engaging experience for the young person coming into the Catholic Faith.
