In this important service boys and girls in grades 3 and up have the opportunity to assist in a unique way in the celebration of Weekend Masses. Training is required. We’ll make every effort to assign you to the Mass that is most convenient for your family’s schedule.

This team sews the beautiful white baptismal garments that our parish gives to infants at baptism. Please let us know if you would like to offer your talent in creating these sacramental garments that will be cherished by parents as a symbol of Christ’s love for their children.

The Eucharistic Ministers of Holy Communion Ministry participates in the following areas in our parish:
1. Parish Masses
This vital ministry offers the opportunity to assist in the distribution of Holy Communion at our parish Masses. A rotating schedule is used based on the volunteer availability and Mass preferences. Specific training is required and ongoing formation opportunities are offered each year.

2. Homebound
These extraordinary ministers of Holy Communion extend the parish’s outreach and pastoral care to parishioners who are home-bound and cannot attend Mass.

3. Hospitals and Nursing Homes
Ministers perform the task of bringing the Holy Eucharist to Catholics in hospitals and nursing homes who are unable to attend Mass at the parish. This ministry currently serves the following facilities: Hunt Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, The Brentwood Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Emeritus at Cherry Hill, and Twin Oaks Care and Rehabilitation Center.

Lectors are a dedicated group of men and women (beginning with High School students who have been confirmed) who proclaim God's word at Mass with clarity and enthusiasm. No previous experience is necessary, but specific training is required. Opportunities for ongoing formation are offered each year. Assignments are made on a rotating basis based on individual availability and Mass preference.

This ministry works to create a prayerful atmosphere in our church with flowers, plants, symbols and decor in accordance with the liturgical calendar. Joy-filled volunteers gather periodically to perform upkeep of our worship space to maintain a clean and welcoming environment for all.

The Liturgy Commission assists in the preparation of liturgies for the entire church year. This ministry works closely with the pastor in various aspects of the Liturgy, including the rites, music, and the environment, to ensure effective and sound liturgical celebrations.
